3am and I'm up

billeylerAs of yesterday, the drought is officially over in central New Mexico, whatever that means. The weatherman on channel 4 was beside himself with that news.
Although mostly cloudy yesterday, the monsoon rains skipped ABQ through the day.
But at 3am, it started raining TORRENTS, waking me up. And lightning. And of course thunder. This just doesn't happen in NM, even during the monsoon.
I think I'm calling in sick today...I need sleep.
