Always makes me sad to see split weeks ... If lived in Albuquerque, I'd see Mary Poppins and maybe The Lion King ... oh, and I might see "Les Mis" since a friend is playing Jauvert on this tour. In the Ovation Series, I'd see Joan Rivers, Cab Calloway Orchestra, Sweet Honey in the the Rock and Say Goodnight, Gracie!

Our split weeks are generally Friday pm through Sunday pm, so it's great timing for us. I know that they're traveling hours for single performances here and there with bus and truck tours; even El Paso generally doesn't get the weekend portion of the runs if they pass through here.

Our Marketing team was surprised that Goodnight Gracie was in the top 5 Ovation sellers until today.

UNM Ticketing is desperately unhappy with us right now. Response to the season has been easily 4 times what it was last year. And last year, we had WICKED as our anchor.

They are swamped with renewal orders.

I had a dream last week which had Manhattan Transfer singing something as the dream soundtrack.

Sounds like a lot of shows to choose from!

Les Mis is coming through here this coming year as well as part of the AT&T Performing Arts Series. I am betting Danny will be heading to that one there as well...

Actually, he's seen it 6 times now, so he gave it a pass. He just selected the Broadway season package this year and wrote his 50% off check for that. Many of the Ovation series I can get for free as a staff member.

Well, I knew he loved it, but did not know he has already seen it 6 times. This will be my first. By the way, Sweet Honey In The Rock frankly rocks. I had the opportunity years ago to see them in concert with the Women's Chorus of Dallas and it was a magical event. I would definitely be in line for that one...
