Slogging through

billeylerThursday was a 15 hour day at work. By 10pm, my overused mind was a muddle of muck and my body was right there slogging along...neither of them connected to each other. Getting home, Danny and I watched a few minutes of TV, then I passed out. It's a mercy that I'm only a few minutes away from my work.
Woke up at 5am, although the alarm was set for 7am. Oh, well.
Time to pack for Seattle! This is going to feel like a vacation. Sad part is I had to bow out of my calling engagement early to get a flight back home for Sunday night show settlements. The ever-fun Ruby Luke is picking us up at the airport, then we're staying with Gigi, who I think I've met briefly at an event.
Danny's leaving from Seattle Sunday for a mini-vacation in San Jose area...he misses his friends there. But he's almost in the same boat as me. Work responsibilities have so crowded in on him that he thought about cancelling. But didn't! Yay!
