Looked up the forecast for San Francisco this weekend. Wet. Storms. Very wet.

I'll be pulling together all my "Valentine In The Rain" singing calls for the Saturday dance.

Of course I won't be doing ANY singing calls on Sunday. They'd lynch me. They're very particular.

It would not be inappropriate to end the Sunday afternoon dance with an A1 singing call. Anne's been doing this for years, and it's been generally well received.

My suggestion: Prepare an A1 singer, and towards the end of the MNS dance, ask people if they'd like a singer to finish up.

Worst they can say is no, and if things get violent I'll just stand in front of you as a human shield.

Don't end the dance with a singer, but you could end the first half (A2/C1) with an Advanced singer if you want. That would make bigjohnsf happy.

And you do have one advantage over Anne. UNlike Anne, you can't be made to break down laughing while you're calling. (I know, I've tried.)

I was just going to post and I already see my name here. Am I the only dancer in San Francisco who likes Advanced singing calls?

Harlan was doing them every other tip in the class. Harlan! Now he just does one at the end of class.

Now that I've actually performed Advanced singing calls, you may expect more! I think every other tip is about right, no?

It's like you people don't like to dance.

I actually was concentrating so much on the scheduling since we got a late start that I FORGOT to do a singer! :-)
