not really a Friday type of Friday
Jun. 9th, 2006 03:26 pmWorked a full 8 at work yesterday, prepping May financials and projections, and squeezing in more STOMP bits and pieces, then ran home to prep for the c/w lessons for the night, got that done, then took off for the Ranch without Danny, since he wanted a night home, plowed through the lessons, said my farewells at 9, rushed back to work to finish the nightly box office settlements, but I didn't really have to rush since the show was just letting out and the company manager had gone out for the evening anyway, then went home and noodled around unable to fall asleep until about 12:30.
Okay, I officially woke up tired today.
So this morning I woke up at 5:45, got some email correspondence done, fed the birds, finished my prep questionnaire for our meeting with our financial/estate planner, we drove down for the 9am appointment with her, met for an hour, then on the way back we got a voice message on Danny's cell phone that the Best Buy guys were at the house, even though they weren't supposed to be there until 10:30 to 12:30 (it was 10am), so we finished rushing home to meet them, cleaned out the refrigerator, and got that dealt with, then I dropped the ASDC deposit at the bank and headed to work where I'm playing catchup with fundraising postings and the general this and that with the Banner system, thinking that I really need to go home and take a nap, since I have to prep for the Pride performance tonight, then I have to pick Jack Denvir up at 6:40 and take him there so we're all there by 7pm for call, then workshop the underrehearsed dances so we'll be ready by 8pm for our 15 minutes of fame in spite of it looking like rain and that we don't expect anyone to actually BE at the fairgrounds to watch us (and the other dozen groups performing), then rush back to work to do the nightly box office reports, then go home and go to bed.
Okay, I'm still tired. And tomorrow, is the pride parade I have to help set up for, call on the 'float', staff the booth, then head back to work for 2 more performances of STOMP.
Um, stop please.
But we do have a new refrigerator. That's fun.
