Sniffly, sneezy

Nearly the entire city of Albuquerque is in the throes of allergy attacks, most likely from the explosion of pollens from the greening of the desert this summer. This is the worst hay fever attacks I've had in years, with severe sneezing fits that feel as if I'm about to fade into asthma. I hadn't missed this drippy, weepy, ugly stuff at all, and I'm not glad it's back.

Maybe all that's what made me forget the 1:30 staff meeting today.

Oh, well. It was a short meeting I hear, since it backed into another meeting. I wasn't missed!

Hard to believe it's still officially summer. Was 41 this morning here at the house, and the cottonwood tree leaves are starting to yellow!
