Yesterday afternoon, I notice a layer of smoke/clouds, mostly to the north, and thought it would be really odd if the California fires were sending their smoke this way. As I was driving north for square dancing, it was near us, but not over us.
Nope, not California. There are fires in the northern NM mountains, with that smoke finding its way down the valley here. It's pretty smoggy right now, not pretty.
