We hate her, that Kris Jensen! (no, not really!) She and Turtle-Bear have just left for FTL to catch a lesbitian Caribbean cruise. Somewhere in there, they are meeting up with 2 friends of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
otterpop58 they know through Contra dancing. I could REALLY use some warmth and sunlight about now, but did they invite us? Harumph. ;-)
I say this is day 7 of the sickies, since I've had a couple of partial relapses that have caused me to leave early from work the past two days. Yesterday, I suddenly realized at 9am that I was without voice...so I scrambled to get Dave Martin to sub for the c/w lessons last night. Danny went in my stead and said it all worked out just fine, while I vegetated some more in front of the TV. The recliner has pretty much molded into my body-shape by now.
I seem to have most of my voice back today, but still have low energy and a LOT of sinus yukkies. Not quite in the haze I've been all week, so might be okay for teaching c/w in Santa Fe tomorrow night.
Kris is going to miss the annual general meeting of the square dance center on Sunday...and she's the prez! I'll have to spend some time this weekend finishing up the books and getting them ready for the new treasurer.
Still busy at work, too, which is a bummer. Ah, well!
