Google Maps - Street View

fuzzygruf keyed us in quite a while ago about the Street View projects Google was putting together in San Francisco.

It's made it to Albuquerque!

Kind of amazing to "drive up" to the house on what appears to be an early November day last year and look around the area. Just like being a street voyeur! Across the street and a house down, there are kids playing in the yard at the corner house...they'll be doing that forever, or at least until Google updates the view.

Danny showed it to me on his laptop earlier this evening, then I poked around on it myself. What a project! It's comical looking DOWN at the truck that's taking all those 360 views.
