The Three Ds

Last night, we had already committed to having dinner with Dave Martin and David Hardy, friends we met through dancing. We had decided to skip out on the Wilde Bunch "Dinner at Red Robin and seeing Mamma Mia at the theatre" night. When social occasions do arise, which isn't very often, there always seems to be another one to conflict with it! Much great conversation was had, a lot of it revolving about "what are we going to do about the dance program at Sidewinders." Much wine was consummed, as well as some Port. Eek!

One of the conversational tidbits was a rant by "Big Dave" about the peculiar habits men have at the gym, like drying off with paper towels after a shower, wearing swim suits in the shower, trying to finagle putting underwear on while still wearing a towel. Some of this stems from camera-phone phobia from what I hear. cuyahogarvr was grumbling about the same things in his post yesterday!

Their home is in the foothills of the Sandias, with wonderful views all around. We had had a thunderstorm about 4pm, but it cleared fairly quickly. I caught this picture about 7:30pm of the virga, in the direction of Santa Fe. The temp had dropped to a near-chilly 70 or so with a lovely tickling breeze.
