Oct. 5th, 2008 05:16 pmNo a-fibs in two nights, a blessing. I'm feeling on-the-edge with it now. Ugh. Hope it doesn't culminate tonight -- Danny's out of town until Thursday at a cush convention in Colorado Springs.
Show 4 of 5 of Oliver! is a fait complete. I wish it were at least a quality bus and truck tour, but you just know when part of their tour is Farmington NM (the day before) and Socorro NM (Tuesday) that it's...well...subpar. If we had known that this was THAT type of tour when it was presented as part of our Broadway package, we would have vetoed it. $55 for price A seats to a performance that's something between a high school and community theatre production? I think not. I'm just embarrassed.
Of course, I haven't seen a minute of it live, just the sound coming from the monitor in my office for the 45 minutes or so that I'm there while the show is going on. How jaded of me.
But on the non-jaded side, we just had a 15 minute rainstorm, with the sun shining brightly from the West the whole time. Rainbows galore! And me without my camera! But in spite of not capturing it in pixels, I'm still rejuvenated by it!
