For the 3rd day, there were no channels available on cable, except for Basic cable. Any other cable channel that we subscribe to when clicked on just gave the message that we weren't subscribed and please call Comcast to sign up. WTF?
Danny's been calling the number daily, getting the auto-message that the systems were down, please be patient, and they don't know when it will be resolved and/or repaired.
This morning, he persevered until he got ahold of a real person. They have a new server online now, which was the problem...their old server went kerplop and they didn't have a mirror or backup (I'm surmising). Since Danny called in with the problem, they moved our service over to the new server while he was on the phone with them. Anyone who had NOT called yet is still on the dead server, until they can do a bulk move.
So we have our full cable service back, thanks to Danny!
