Surprised, or should I be?
Dec. 8th, 2008 09:15 amThis blip is surprising only in that the former UNM president mentioned below was fired from UNM by the board of regents. His career here was brief. Danny helped him with his computers for his long exit transition.
From UNM President Schmidley's morning morning e-blast:
"We have more congratulations to pass around. It was announced last week that UNM law professor and former president Louis Caldera has been appointed to head up the White House Military Office. As a former Secretary of the Army, Professor Caldera is no stranger to Washington.
We wish him the best in this next stage of his remarkable career."
Yup, remarkable.
