Pics from today

I stayed home this morning to deal with the tilers and the electrician.

Doug, the general contractor. He was here to help the electrician run the new wiring for the evaporative cooler.

Brian, the electrician. Still sore from his shoulder surgery a month ago. On the phone with an electrical supplier trying to find out why the lights in the master bath keep blowing. He gets as cranky as I do.

Tony, the apprentice tiler. He's the best friend of one of the sons of the hired tile guy. He's working in the guest bathroom on the tile.

Larry, the licensed tiler. He's working in the master bath.

Back to work shortly!

Looking really good! That magenta accent paint is daring but successful. ;-)

You've no idea how long we agonized over magenta or eggplant for the accent color...

If you look REALLY closely, you'd see a picture of YOUR master bathroom on the wall above the tiler's head. We're using it as our 'inspiration room' :-)

One thing we wish was there which isn't: built-in nook or shelf for shower accessories (shampoo, bodywash, etc.)

Paul did mention that all that bending over you have to do in your shower is a bit...dangerous.

Hahah! I didn't even think of it looking like that since I knew it was the plastic coating over the seams and screws.
