Still productive

Got out of bed with no problem at 7ish this morning and made the earlier post.
- The lighting designer (a friend of mine) called back at 9.
- The sleep center called at 2 to tell me to bring my jammies and a pillow by 8 tomorrow
- My cardiologist's nurse called back about 3 (I was gone) and said to continue with the aspirin and start taking the cardizem daily whether I have an episode or not. I did call and get an appt with another doc there on Jan 4.
It was a day of driving around doing errands...after stopping by 4 other places for errands, I ran out to Lowe's and got the refund for the one mismatched drapery panel, but they were all out of them...we had gotten the last four. They DID check and said the Rio Rancho Lowe's had 16 panels, so after finishing up there, I trekked the 12 miles to the OTHER Lowe's. I got the panel, and now it's hanging nicely with the other three!
Yeesh, this traffic business is ugly. I'm so glad that most everything I do is nearby.
So I got home about 5, and Danny and I carried on with framing out the furring strips...this has to be the most tedious part of the whole thing. We quit about 7, but I think since the texture plaster is dry now I'll do the first primer coat...
Danny's still not up to par, and his tummy is roiling pretty significantly still. In spite of that, he spend the day clearing up the wiring issues. We're talking electric, cable, video, speaker, etc etc. Ugh.
My friend Thom (the lighting designer) is stopping by at 9 in the morning to give us some thoughts. We just can't see how we can do what we want to do with recessed lighting without tearing up the downstairs ceiling or upstairs flooring, and we DON'T want to go that route.
