Somehow I slept through a torrential rain we had about 5 this morning...it woke Danny up, but I was sawing logs. The rain gauge showed 6/10 of an inch when I checked on my way to work. My, oh my! Lots of snow in the mountains, even near here. I wonder if the ski resorts are all going to open up again (if they ever closed!) 41 degrees at noon is a little less than optimal, but the rain is a good thing.

I'm loving that I don't have to water again and can turn the drip system off for another couple of days. April is one of the lowest precip months here, and coupled with the legendary spring winds, makes April not generally a nice place to be a plant.

Forecast for the rest of the weekend is decent though, with 70ish weather again by Sunday!
