I thought at convention they hired professional sound people to sound the halls. Isn't this the same hall / setup they're going to use for all the big dances?
As I remember, the sound in Santa Clara (my first trail-in dance) was pretty awful and not only when half the speakers weren't working.
As someone trying to learn how to call, I'm struggling to find how to learn the skills myself for how to sound difficult halls, but you kind of expect the big guys to know how.
