Sunday was a day of small chores, the kind that you're glad you got done.

-  Washed several loads of Danny's clothes, as well as mine.
-  Proofed the GCA newsletter draft and sent comments back to Allan Hurst
-  Corrected the bad installation by the garage door contractor of the trim around the west garage door (lots more nails), caulked and primed the trim and painted it.    The east door needs work, too, but can' t access that easily because of our mounds of renovation debris still in the back yard.
-  Repaired a soaker hose that blew out on the top level of the terrace.
-  Recorded six more 45s into mp3 format from Danny's new USB turntable (very easy , high quality sound!)
-  Sprayed the house, garage and property for bugs (normally Danny's monthly chore).

It was the hottest day of the year so far...94 on the thermometer at home.  Took the precaution to wear coverage while painting out in the sun, but my arms still got a bit toasted.

Just an all around nice day with no rush to get anything done.  We enjoyed another late afternoon up to sunset sitting on the upper deck enjoying the cooling of the day.   Dinner was leftover Chinese Mongolian Beef, Pork Lo Mein, and rice...still tasty.  Watched the end of "Derailed" downstairs and finally called it a night.

It's been 3 weeks now since Danny had his fall; theoretically half-way to recovery, but it's hard to tell.  He made a valiant attempt to sleep in the bed on Saturday night, but by 4am had to beat a retreat back to the recliner because of his back.  Sigh.
