For some months now on my Gateway laptop that I use for my home computing, I've been getting error messages boxes with nearly every webpage I go to or is part of what I'm working on.

Sample:

"Runtime Error Has Occurred
Do You Wish to Debug?

Line:126 [varies...sometimes there are 5 or more of these lines with errors]
Error: [varies, but usually descriptive about something that's wrong or some criteria is missing]

(Radio buttons) YES NO"

I'm suspecting when we put IE7 on here, it might have screwed the pooch, but I just don't know. I actually tried to go in and 'debug' one time, and just got a message back saying I wasn't authorized.

It's really annoying, since I have to click "NO" before I can go on...these errors don't seem to actually affect anything I'm looking at.

I use Firefox, so I'm not sure if this is it:

IE: Tools / Internet Options / Advanced Tab / Under BROWSING, check "Disable Script Debugging" and uncheck "Display a notification about every script error."

Again, that's just a guess.

Okay, I'll give that a try...I was able to click "Disable Script Debugging (Other)" since the IE one was already clicked and the Display every script error was already not clicked...we'll see!

Gracias, handsome!

I'm thinking that clicking "Disable script errors (other)" might have worked! Thanks!
