Dismaying events

billeylerI think I posted last week or so that our house was being cased for a potential breakin by two young guys that came around the back of the house about 9am on a Friday morning. Danny was home, and that seemed to deter them. And of course, it keeps us a bit worried.
It seems that now we have a mail thief.
Two checks that have been sent to me in the past few weeks by two totally unrelated parties have gone astray. I do remember maybe 2 weeks ago, I checked the mail and there was none, not even junk mail. We ALWAYS get junk mail. Daily.
So now, we're talking about either getting a locking mailbox, or having mail delivered to a PO box.
It just never ends.
