11 inches on the back deck.

And STILL coming down.

Oh, my.

You get all the fun. There hasn't been a single flake of snow all year, and it's getting on my nerves. Where's winter, dammit!

Can I come visit and build snowmen in your front yard?

Come on down! Except most of the flights in and out are cancelled today...

But after you get your fill of playing in the snow, we'll build a fire so you can come in and warm your cockles!

But will ABQ make the news like Denver does?

Of course not...we're not a Hub city for an airline. But although there is one runway open here, there aren't any flights in or out.

It's up to a foot of snow...it's record snowfall for ANY day here...ever. Last weeks snow hadn't even completely melted off, and there's more predicted for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Weds is supposed to be our first day of work after the break.

Yeah, the weather channel keeps talking about Denver, but we've actually had more snow this time than downtown Denver did! Woooooo!

Wanna come bjarvis in building snowmen here? Or shall we all go back to Hawaii? :-)

Why don't you come to Atlanta with Kris Jensen - we have a mild 50 degrees here. Hah!

Darin and I were considering ABQ as a winter getaway (a break from all the snow here in Bend) but apparently we need to look elsewhere... Enjoy the snow!

ummm...yah. Try Phoenix! :-) Or Puerto Vallarta!

This is record snowfall since records have been kept here (and at 10:30am, it's snowing again). We have a foot on the ground now. Add that to the 5 inches last week that had barely melted off and it's quite something.

I don't know about ABQ as a winter getaway in December and January...the average high is in the 40s and low in the 20s...and it's been 30 degrees constant for a couple of days now.

Actually, we're looking for a place to escape from Bend during the transitional times when we can't mountain bike or ski (Nov-Dec and mid-Mar to mid-May). Enjoy the record snowfall. Run outside right now and build a snow fort before you do whatever it is you're going to do with your cockles. :-)

when correctly viewed, everything is lewd ...

Looking over this entry carefully ... it could be about snow ... or about sex. The exact context is ... imprecise. And knowing you, deliberately so. :)

(I think 6:15 AM is too early to have sex on the back deck, even for dedicated size queens.)

I think I should have added "snow" and 30 degrees, huh! ;-)

And it's STILL coming down at 1pm.

Oh dear! Just as long as you don't lose power and Internet... and have enough food in the house! :-)

About 9000 customers lost power sometime last night...there was a brief flicker here about 2 hours ago, but no loss. Yet!

Isn't it YOUR part of the country that's supposed to get this??? heheh

Boy, you'd think, wouldn't you!? We're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Really.

sending waves of love and rain/wind from Houston. teasing about a couple of inches is one thing. hearing about that much snow in Albaqueerque....is something to show concern and hope for quick melt.
