The weather today was blustery, at best.  No precip in the city, but only squeezed out about 47 degrees and windy.

HOWEVER, Danny called me when he got to his weekend retreat about an hour from here, on the other side of mountains.  There was 3 inches of snow on the ground and it was still coming down there.

Spring?  

Hah!

It's 33 now at 11:30pm and I'm sure we're going to have that heavy frost that kills all the fruit tree buds...they're happily flowering away all over the area.   

Maybe the tulips that are blooming that will still be perky by the afternoon.

Sigh.

Meanwhile, our trees are still happily budding and flowering AFTER the snowstorm we just had. Fortunately, even though we had a week of 70 degree weather before the storm, and my roommate bought tomato and lettuce plants, she didn't PLANT them. So they're still alive (and still unplanted. Personally, I still think it's about 1 month too early).

But HA! It's 43 degrees here right now at 9 am.
