We pretty much sorted through the mail (junk mail mostly), personal email (nothing relevant mostly) and phone messages (2, neither urgent happily) last night after we got home, and just vegetated the rest of the evening and pretty much most of today. Started to putter in the back cleaning up the ivy debris, but a fast moving T'storm blew in and I backed off being outside PDQ.

Back to reality tomorrow after a whole 8 days away! I did stop by the office briefly to just sort through stuff, and nothing urgent THERE either. It's a blessing to work in the performing arts, when the season doesn't really get off to a gallop until October.

Just got the word tonight from my dear friend Gary Dougan that I'll be calling a C1/C2 dance (with C3A star tip) in San Francisco on Nov 6, piggybacked onto the Foggy City dance the night before. That's my fave place in the world to call...so many memories and hunky acquaintances there. Danny's not sure if he's going to go to this one yet, which surprises me, since he's still very close to his ECR friends there. Have to contact Senor Perna to make the finals...

Danny's been having some nerve problems in his leg this past couple of weeks. It's quite a worry when *I* have to slow down for him to catch up...it's always the other way around. Hope he does get some tests done. Between him and this thing I've got going on my foot

Hit the scales this morning. 207. I think I'm going to join Steve (www.thefatmanwalking.com) on his journey. I blame it on the cruise food of course! :-) I broke down and got a size 38 cowboy belt today. Inspiration, come save me!

Looking forward to the Denver flyin this weekend...I sure hope they get the attendance they're hoping for with FOUR callers scheduled! Oh, boy. A four day week coming up! Staying with our good friends Bill and Ralph, as per usual. Maybe we'll get the itch to just move up there this time!
