Mom Returns to Bossier

billeylerApparently Shreveport/Bossier "only" got 5 or 6 inches of rain from Rita, with few damage issues from the winds. Lucky! Today mom flies back from Clarksburg WV to her modest home...crossing fingers all goes well, since she's pretty frail at 83.

Date: 2005-09-27 01:47 pm (UTC)The local paper makes it sound like Bossier City came through okay. Their online edition has a "Headlines of the Week" section. The top four stories are about sports teams and games. #6 was about shelters emptying out.
