Looking forward...

It's sad that Danny won't be with me on this trip to San Francisco, but I'm looking forward to the weekend to see all my old bay area friends at the dances. Calling Mainstream and Plus at the Foggy City Dancer anniversary dance (with A2 tip) on Saturday and C1 and C2 (with C3A tip) at the Midnight Squares dance on Sunday.

Happily, my ex-b/f Gary's partner Charlie will be picking me up in Oakland Friday morning and schlepping me to their place for a visit and lunch before they head off to Palm Springs for the weekend.

sfbearhoney has graciously agreed to host me at least for Friday night. Such a trooper! A Friday afternoon dinner visit with Ron Masker, then off to a concert he's involved in that night.

Apparently, there's major construction on some of the roadways between SF and Oakland airport, so I'm being encouraged to hop on BART for the trip back Sunday evening...that should work, since my flight is 7:40 and the dance ends at 5. I always feel a flashback with things like that to being 6 years old and being dropped off at the bus-stop for my very first solo trip to school.
