Monday night after calling for the Wilde Bunch, I posted a grumpy entry, then thought better of it the next morning and just deleted it. Sorry, Allan H!

It pretty much comes down to trying to do 4 programs in one night. There are more C1 students and angels from 6 to 7 than are regularly coming to the Wilde Bunch club portion of the dance, which is Mainstream, Plus and Advanced. The energy level was down to null. I'm having some personal issues with a sub-group of dancers that I need to work on.

I'm still just going to go with the flow, and have thought of some workarounds. Just need to press ahead with it, instead of just thinking about it.

Issues with our own flyin coming up that came up when I saw on Vic Ceder's calendar that he didn't have us listed yet as calling. Hope those don't balloon out of hand. (that's a pun!)

Apparently working a full eight hours Monday while sick and calling for 3+ hours took its toll. I woke up Tuesday feeling the sickest I had with the sinus crud and called in to the doc to get an appt to get a prescription for antibiotics. Missed 1/2 day of work...

Spent (or wasted) more time last night browsing the www.davecullen.com Everything Brokeback Mountain site last night. You'd think I'd be done with this by now! Watched the Oprah segment from last Friday with the 4 leads and a number of other video interviews. They must be SO over this...they've both had other movies since then (Casanova, Jarhead), but those never come up in the conversations at all.

Today, feeling decent, and the crud is down to about 20% of what it was yesterday. I think I'll live!

Tonight, we watched the episode of "Still Standing," that Paul Waters in lalaland had posted as a must-see on one of the e-lists. It was forwarded on ad nauseum from there to other lists.

I know Paul did this on purpose, knowing what was in store.

Besides seeing a 2006 version of Sally Struthers that bore every resemblance to a BLOATED aged, drug-ridden Shelly Winters in Poseidon Adventure, the 'square dancing' portion was probably the most negative stereotype of the activity I've ever seen. A high school wimp of a boy was forced to take lessons as a punishment for failing a gym class.

I've never heard of that TV series before. And I'd never watch it again, mostly because of the terrible 1980s style acting and the absolute non-family feel of this family.

Thanks, Hollywood. Thanks, Paul.
