I was happy to get ANOTHER email just this morning from my childhood friend Robin, and he happily clarified a few things, one being a biggie. He married his partner of 10 years, Artur, about 3 years ago. Artur is (happily) a male, and a Berliner. Knowing Robin, I'm sure it's an interesting relationship...his other two I know about certainly were. Being in and near Berlin, Robin can fully explore the S&M side of his personality.

Early in the week, I made it a goal to walk at least 20 to 30 minutes before I went to work. This would mean I'd get up about the same time as Danny (6am), pull on my sweatshirt and jeans, pop on a ballcap to cover the serious bedhair and just GO. Easy enough, since I enjoy walks.

It felt great to do that this past Monday. But since then, both of us have been sleeping badly, and although I wake up at 4am or 5am wide awake (or 1am or 3:30am and various other multiple random times), I end up falling dead asleep again, and wake up too late to do the walk, much less get to work in time.

Today, Danny at least came in and woke me at 7 with a forehead kiss so I could get to work on time. And at this moment, I'm sitting here at 10:45am only feeling 1/2 awake with creaky bones.

Sometimes it's hard to even take the small steps consistently.
