Mortality week
Apr. 12th, 2006 01:46 pmBizarre day today.
The ticketing manager, Susan, had a massive heart attack last night and isn't expected to pull through. A heavy smoker, overweight, arthritic and diabetic, the heart attack doesn't surprise me, but it's still very sad since she's so dedicated and committed to her work here. The ticketing staff is pulling together to get all the things done that are critical this time of year.
Tom, my boss, burned his hand on his stove yesterday, severely enough that it could get infected. It's not pretty.
Laura, the educational coordinator, lost a good friend to a heart attack yesterday.
Stormy, a front office student, almost lost her brother yesterday (he's 36) to a heart attack, but he's pulling out of it. Her girlfriend was admitted this morning to the hospital for high fevers and passing out.
Christine, the wife of our former booking manager Paul, is still in the hospital after a brain hemmorhage last week, and they won't release her to go home yet.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
