I was so excited this morning...

...that I took an umbrella to work. The forecast was for a 40% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon!

Looking at the weather.com radar map now at 3:30pm, we're in the famed Albuquerque Donut Hole as per usual, where rain will never touch soil, nor clouds push past that barrier.

Maybe if we apply more lube.

Early morning after just waking up is NO time to be sorting through your closet, selecting things to go to ARC for charity.

For some reason, I gave away my two most comfortable sweaters, a floppy henley style knit that I was always pushing up the sleeves and an aging turquoise pullover. I left all the 20 or so overwhelmingly beige sweaters behind to hang in the closet forlornly. (I think Danny calls them "jumpers")

I did have the presence of mind to give away 4 pair of slacks, size 32 and 34 that I'm now resigned to never fitting into again.
