Almost home
Jul. 4th, 2006 04:30 pmThe body and mind have been too tired to type up my thoughts on the last two days, so I'll wait until we're home in a few hours. We're on and off dozing here in the Phoenix airport, happy we're almost home and happy to have seen so many folks we know over the past four days.
On the SuperShuttle back to the airport, had a nice chat with a gentleman from Toronto, and another from Portland. Mike Jacobs was sitting a couple of rows up from me, but was nearly in a catatonic state. I wonder how long he'll be able to keep up with this pace. Drew Allen was sitting next to them, but we'd already said goodbyes a couple of times over the past day, so it would have been anticlimatic to keep doing it.
Wrote a few new C2 sequences in LAX and worked on rating some of my music in CSDS, but the brain didn't want to be pushed too hard.
Just noting the flurry of anxiety on CNN caused by the North Korean launching of missiles...
