Work was on the dull side today, mostly because we were lethargic with the A/C being broken. The temp said it was 86 in the room when I left there at 4:30. Ugh.
Threw a couple of chops on the barbie for dinner tonight and that was that. Danny and I are both tired for no good reason. Prepped my notes for c/w class tomorrow...fast approaching my 1 year anniv with that activity.
Kris was hosting C2 again, so I hauled over (all 2 blocks) to her place and had a nice time for the 2 hours of dance. It's hard to believe it's almost all the same people dancing C2 as the group I started in 1995 from scratch. Dancing is sporadic, since it's all dependent on getting 8 together and almost everyone travels enough that it averages only twice a month. When chorus is in session, rehearsals are on Wednesdays, and that cuts out C2 for me.
At home, called Anne U up and had a nice chat. We're both concerned about the Montreal dance at the OutGames, but while we were talking I did finally find the schedule online and we yakked about that. We came away feeling much better, deciding to take a "c'est la vie" approach to it. Don Moger (she knows him, I don't) is more in the line of fire with this, since he's there in Montreal and is the only French Canadian of our little trio. We're just hoping whoever has organized this has told the dancers it's down from 7 callers in 6 halls to 3 callers in 2 halls, with dancing starting at 1pm each day, instead of at 9am.
A bit ago, I fell asleep downstairs watching a special on Woody Guthrie on TV. When I woke up, I couldn't find the remote control (it was in my hand). I still can't. I must have eaten it in my sleep.
