I was nosing around looking for a nice camshot of the sunrise this morning...it was one of those beautiful salmon colored partly cloudy skies that are so gorgeous here.

I did find text ) webcam of a storm over the mountains in Albuquerque on Oct 8...a full day's adventure in a timelapse of a couple of minutes. Nice site for us desert folk that are often cloud deprived!

How weird...it's a beautiful, relatively warm evening; 47 degrees right now at 10pm and calm as can be out.

There's a winter storm warning starting late tomorrow night all through Tuesday with 5-8" of snow projected in the city and up to 2 1/2 foot on the east side of the mountains. Whoa!

The chorus winter concerts are history, with our 3rd and final concert this afternoon the best of the three and the best attended. Afterward, we all gathered at Alex K's house on the west side for an after party, replete with tons of catered Mexican food and lots of sociability...most of our S.O.s were in attendance. We again said our goodbyes to Ben A, who's been an effective president for the past year and a half since Mike B took off for Colorado. Ben is also moving on...to Seattle, where he's looking forward to humidity and moisture. His b/f Mark has already moved there.

Wonder if it'll snow out square dancing tomorrow night! Interesting thought!

Danny doesn't believe we really can get snow here in town...there's just been a bit here and there the past five years. Maybe this will show him!
