A movie I won't be going to see
Jan. 19th, 2008 01:09 pmRecently, I posted to HGTV's "Design on a Dime" blog that I wouldn't be watching the show anymore until they got a new cameraman. The show this season is being filmed by some crazed person without a SteadyCam that likes to make you feel like you're on a small boat in choppy, storm-driven waves. Ugh. Apparently, there've been enough comments on that blog that they're actually going to fix it for 'next season'...we'll see.
So I don't watch TV shows with those realistically wavery drunken-feeling camera actions. Flip. Next channel please. Something that doesn't make me feel sea-sick.
I was initially intrigued by some advance yak about the movie "Cloverfield," but after reading reviews and noting that it's all filmed with a hand camera with no steadying correction, forget THAT!
