Towards sunset
Mar. 8th, 2008 05:56 pmThe Wilde Bunch board meeting was actually a pleasant surprise. Instead of getting the 3rd degree, I was thanked for carrying on with disseminating information to the folks on the listserv. That discussion morphed into reinstating the long-defunct Wilde Bunch newsletter.
A committee was formed to discuss the 2009 square dance classes from Basic through A2, rather than try to beat it to death during the meeting. There was food. Yay! The board meeting was kept at the requisite 2 hours, but some of us stayed an extra hour to discuss 'things.'
Productivity today:
- Reconciled all bank statements and paid the monthly gross receipts tax online as usual.
- Filled the trash bin with another load of debris
- Fixed the faucet the drip system is connected to
- Attempted to again level the wobbly, misconstructed and warped deck railing that bothers me every time I see it.
- Put a great deal of thought into a total remodel of the master bedroom and bath.
- Set all manual clocks up an hour throughout the house (those that I hadn't disconnected)
Danny's at another of the AGORA training sessions till about 7. We'll have dinner at Mannie's and probably not go dancing again, in spite of me having a brand new pair of comfortable dance boots. Donnie Darko is available for free on Comcast On Demand, so maybe I'll convince Danny to watch that with me.
If I could get rid of this kink in my neck/back that's been plaguing me for three weeks, life would be good.
[edit: We ended up watching a new episode of Torchwood. Unlike Danny, I like knowing something of what's going on, so I had already read ahead on the plotlines for the next couple of episodes. This one was just WEIRD]
