More rain expected

 This isn't a usual post for the high desert here, but it's keeping the weatherfolk buzzing.  It's especially hard to see this since at 8am, it's a crystal-clear blue sky all around.

So much for us using our pool this weekend!

Today's garden tour

The zucchini, one month in. This is on the second level of the terrace; the 8 or so plants on the third level are only 1/2 the size, maybe from being more shaded. Bumper crop coming up!



Four O'Clocks...apparently they bloom more like 4am, than 4pm!



Two of the drought-tolerant plants you see all over the area, but whose names escape me at the moment. The purple-flowering one is actually quite invasive, with spreading roots that go everywhere! Both have extremely fragrant leaves and stems, probably a sage.
