Deck the Halls (in 7/8 time)

I've found this piece in our chorus concert music to be the most challenging.  My La-las don't normally work this fast!

This is an SATB version I found on youtube.com.  We have 16 singing it TTBB.

Concerts start next week!  Eek!

We're doing it on our concert too!!! Luckily, it is our small ensemble, so I don't have to fight with it.

When is your concert? Ours is December 11. I'll be in ABQ 18-26th.

Ours is 'small ensemble' too...i.e., the entire chorus of 16 will be singing! :-)

Our small ensemble consists of 15 this time. They got to try it out at the little Planned Parenthood concert we gave at the end of retreat yesterday. It went well! I didn't have to negotiate those "fa la las" myself because all I had to do was sit at the piano and give them the first pitch. :-)

the men's set in the BCPA Christmas show is "Texas Country Christmas"
