Oddly, in my mail at work, I got a flyer that was soliciting 'highly qualified' people to apply to Fort Mason for the new (?) performing arts complex that's either there or being built. One of the positions they were scouting for is a Controller. And I'm certainly qualified.

I wish I had known about that in 2000, when I was marginally considering relocating to the Bay Area.

Maybe I'll send in a resume as a lark. Danny says we couldn't afford a garage there, much less a whole house, but who knows!

We could of course, if you really wanted to take the job! And I still have a strong network in IT management; I wouldn't have a problem getting back into a director-level position. So you go ahead and send it if you want to!
