Booked for LA

billeylerFinally sat down and booked our flights on Southwest for LAX for Callerlab in March. We're getting there on 3/16 and leaving 3/22, so that gives us a couple of days of a mini-vacation while we're there. Maybe we'll find the dream home in Palm Springs that Danny has been yearning for (or at least be warm for a few days!).
Since Danny's going to be a convention widow for several days, he's going to rent a car and enjoy the SoCal ambiance. We're hoping to make a trip out to visit Cal and Rover at their casita in the hills, but we won't be making their party on the 22nd, unfortunately.
Feeling at about 60% today after a bad night of sleep. Kept waking up, sometimes by coughing, but I think I'm back in the land of the living. I'll be working all day on ASDC bookwork for the AGM tomorrow, and prepping for the 1 hour c/w teach in Santa Fe tonight. Glad I have the c/w teaching rider on my Callerlab membership!
Making coffee this morning, I heard a commotion out on the back deck. When I opened the door and peeked out, I saw a Red-tailed Hawk VERY up close and personal on the deck railing...it was hunting down some of the sparrows flitting around. That was my sighting ever!
Supposed to be a mild 55 today! Yay!
