Right now, it's a delightful, short-sleeve calm 60 degrees out, but I see the clouds starting to sneak over the horizon as I type.

Tomorrow night's forecast:

100% probability of precipitation, rain changing to sleet and snow in the evening, with 1-3 inches of the white stuff expected by tomorrow night.

Could make the drive to/from c/w lessons interesting!

Move over, [livejournal.com profile] wooddragon! We need to share those extra blankets with you!

2 1/2 hours to shovel the driveway is some serious exercise! You two don't have a snowblower? Usually with Darin on the snowblower and me on the shovel we can clear our driveway in 45 minutes. This year we've had to shovel our ROOF twice. The snow wasn't quite high enough to drive the snowblower up there. *grin* At least now I know where you get the strength to always get me to the right spot in a square. :-)

Shoveling the ROOF is a pretty scary prospect...I thought we were going to have to do that 12/30/06!

The average snowfall in Toronto for an entire winter is about 115 cm (45 inches), and we frequently have a January thaw so a snowblower isn't necessary. Our driveway is 2 cars wide and about 36 feet long so normal clearing doesn't take that long. We do try to look at it as exercise though - you have to see some positive out of it! We haven't had to shovel the roof yet - sunny and about 30 F today, so hopefully some of it'll melt.
