This is several years old, but I-Pix did a University of New Mexico 360 pix tour.   Popejoy Hall is featured at the first link(before the seat renovation).

Duck Pond/Zimmerman Library.  The very non desert-like duck pond was built in the 70s on the site of a demolished 1919 Pueblo-style men's dormitory.  Zimmerman to the east looks tiny in the picture compared to how large it really is; misleading fish-eye view.   The Original Zimmerman was a WPA project in the 30s and is a gorgeous Pueblo Revival building.

Smith Plaza/Humanities.  Few remember it, but the old Football Stadium (1934-1970) was on the site of Smith Plaza and the Humanities buildings, with roads all around it...all pedestrian malls now.  It was the central core of the campus for many years until it moved 2 miles south in 1966.   Better view of the new section of  Zimmerman Libary to the north.  Archtecture in the 1970s was just WRONG.

THANK YOU1

Brought back a lot of good memories...hanging out in the Student Union or Duckpond, performing with Acloa at Popejoy...and one 'interesting' moment in the towers of Zimmerman Library.
