The guys started yesterday on the oak floors; I'd say they are about 25% done with laying it. Then comes the sanding and the finishing.

Danny is severely stressed about this part of the project, since it encompasses both Thanksgiving and us being out of town through Tuesday, but with the flooring project needing to continue full tilt. It's all centered around the logistics of alarming of the house. After all, we were broken into a few months ago, but the alarm scared the burglars off before anything was taken. Me, I'll just be glad to get away from this for a few days.
