Upside-down tomatoes

It's a little hard to see the 4 new tomato plants on the black structure, since there's so much greenery in the background. I'm very much hoping this attempt to grow 'em works!

Yay for Spring! I love irises. I'm hoping to see a lot of them soon.

Nice flowers.
Is that a new thing, growing tomato plants upside down? Do they grow better that way?

We'll see. Danny saw this in the SkyMall mag and got it; I had no luck with the tomato plants I had growing the past two years the regular way. Since then, the airwaves have been bombarded with a different type of hanging tomato plant grower ("But Wait! There's More!).

Can't hurt! Tomatoes are vining, so the theory is that the grow better upside down than right side up and need no staking.
