We should have gone to a motel for the night. The fumes kept us awake most of the time, distributed upward through the central vent system. Today I have a sore throat.

I won't say 'live and learn'...we WON'T be refinishing hardwood floors in OUR lifetime again!

Ouch! We kinda did the same thing a couple of months ago when finishing props & sets for a show. We applied spray paint & sealants in the garage with the carport door open but because of the cold, closed it as soon as we were finished applying the stuff. Across the course of the evening, the residual fumes permeated the basement and were distributed through the ventilation system to all rooms. God, what a stench. I believe it was one of the very, very few times I actually looked forward to going to work.
