One of the drawbacks of having evening avocations is that I tend to have to miss lots of social events.

Monday the 12th is our office holiday soiree somewhere, and that's the Wilde Bunch annual meeting and dance.

Thursday the 8th is Carl Orff's "Carmin Burana" here at UNM, which Danny really wants to go to. That's C/W lessons at Sidewinder's Ranch.

There's a slew of events happening this weekend, but I'll be in square dance meetings and chorus sectional on Sunday, and I'll have to being doing report workup for ASDC meeting and likely yardwork on Saturday (unless I blow the latter off).

And we haven't even started our traditional Martha Stewarting of the house for the holidays.

Ah, well...the price of being industrious.

We've got the same sort of conflicts... we're supposed to work on a production by DC's Different Drummers for Dec. 17, which collides with three other parties we've been invited to. The various rehearsals leading up to it are also causing scheduling conflicts. This sucks. We've resolved not to work on holiday concerts & performances next year.
