The trend continues...

billeylerWe had five squares for a couple of tips last night with the beginners. There were several new folks and several missing folks, so I'm not sure how many are going to do the class with us.. I'm thinking all told we've had 30 or so that are new. Last night we even had a couple of VERY LONG AGO lapsed dancers turn up, Maxine and Betty...I don't think they've danced since just after our convention in '92...they were taking C1 when they dropped. Was good to see them, but boy they're aging just like the rest of us!
I kept the tips tight and short, so we could get in Mainstream and Plus, and the one Advanced tip at the end. C1 went well from 5:45 to 7:00...two squares in spite of 6 or so MIA.
Energy level was very low yesterday...I even fell asleep at my desk for a minute in the afternoon. I managed about a five minute nap between work and running off to square dancing at 5:20. Today, I'm groggy and a bit wobbly feeling, although I slept better and longer. Maybe it was that quart of Hagendaas I downed after square dancing!
And now Danny has a cold again, or something.
Oh, and I got my Wilde Bunch raise with no comments. :-)
Got a note from John Marshall this morning, he's calling with Anne and me in the Poconos this weekend...apparently both he and Anne will be going there with their respective others, but Danny's staying home because of the time commitment for this trip.
