- Sort and dry the remaining bits of parquet pieces to use around the edges. Some of them got damp from Thursday deluge. CHECK
- Trim back all the arborvitae in driveway to allow more room for backing out without popping the side mirrors. CHECK
- Prune the remaining 5 unpruned arborvitae in driveway from 14 feet to 7 feet**. Got ONE done, only minor scratches, so that makes 3 completed out of 7.
- (Finally*) remove the 11 feet of cabinetry over the kitchen peninsula to open up the kitchen to the dining room. CHECK
- Hit the store for a 2 foot pruning bypass sheer, which will make pruning 10x easier. Impulse buy end-of-season oleander for the south wall by the chimney. CHECK
- Liquid Nail the 3 replacement white counter tiles to the area Danny chiseled out when he took out the supporting ironwork today that supported the east end of the cabinetry. CHECK
- Grout the tiles. TOMORROW.

* Danny had emptied out those cabinets about 18 months ago so that we could get used to having all the excess foodstuff stored and consolidated elsewhere. Removing the cabinet today was easier than we thought it would be. Danny did the prep work of removing the ancient flourescent fixture, moulding, and screws. We just have to find a new place to hang our holiday cards now, since we used to hang them on the back of the cabinet (facing the dining room). The cabinets are going to be remounted in the garage...soon.

** There are now HUGE piles of arborvitae branches and debris all along the driveway which will have to go in the dumpster when we finally hire one for all the prior renovation debris thrown in back of the garage. Trimming the other 4 arborvitae may have to wait until I can get TO them now.
