Ouch!

Plopped a nice pork loin* into the crockpot, along with pineapple, garlic, nutmeg and onion to cook for dinner tonight.  Tossed wax beans, kidney beans, and corn together with Italian dressing for a quick cold salad.  All ready for dinner tonight and it's just barely noon!

SOUNDS LIKE YOU COULD JUST PUT IT OUT ON THE PORCH AND IT WOULD BE READY...

That's true...but then again, in Houston, you can just put vegetables outside in a steamer pot, and they'd be done in an hour! ;-)

Oink!

Oh, and to answer your question about the "hail/heavy rain" I reported on... it really didn't last long enough to cause a problem with the subways. Not that the subways didn't find *other* excuses to get gummed up... oy.

Enjoy your WB pool party!!

Long live the CrockPot! It's the only way to cook in the summer. Keeps the kitchen cool and does the job perfectly. I can't believe everyone doesn't have one.

I suspect it's WAY too low-tech for the au courant gay man of the 21st century!
