Although the congestion is starting to clear up and the yuks are much less significant, the DayQuil and NyQuil I've been taking has screwed up my sleep cycles severely. Over the weekend, I slept very poorly, waking up at all hours of the night. Last night, after falling asleep for about an hour downstairs, I crawled up to bed and absolutely could NOT get back to sleep. Ended up watching "Donnie Darko" on cable downstairs...finally passed out about 5am.]

And back up at 8:00. OMG.

And now I'm at work, not looking pretty. Since I have to sub for Kris tonight, hope the adrenalin fumes will be working.

Spent a good part of the day yesterday working on ASDC books, which included what ended up being at the square dance center for 4 hours for setup and meetings.    I'll be transitioning QuickBooks files and Excel worksheets over to the new treasurer and membership folks next Saturday (in between Gypsy performances.)

Wandered home, cooked a quick and a bit unusual dinner for us, then we headed back to ASDC for a 2 hour Wilde Bunch dance* with Richard Lane calling. I was vacillating about going, but Scott needed my key to open the Wilde Bunch storage closet there, so off we went. I couldn't sit out many tips (that I remember), since we had 2 squares the whole time. My lung power is greatly decreased from this past week's health, but I made it through all of it. Memo to self: do NOT start switching roles kamekaze style during a tip unless all the dancers are into it.

Danny's having work issues, so he's working at home today. Significant (political) issues with some IT projects he's involved in are not making him a happy camper.

* C-Scott has been doing an excellent job with themed monthly fun-dances for the Wilde Bunch, putting in about 20 times more effort than his predecessor did. Last night's dance was Mardi Gras themed, with lots and lots of snackies and decorations! Richard did a fun job calling Mainstream and Plus, with one memorable singing call done to "You know you're a Redneck, if..."

I actually feel like I'm pretty lazy most of the time, with just brief bursts of productivity. ;-)
