View of the north side of the house where I've started the trim paint removal, scraping, sanding ad nauseum. The new electric swing gate it going toward the end of the house by the gas meter. Trees against the house will likely be cut down. Stupid location for them to be planted anyway...they've always been in the way, and rarely get any water at all.

Below is the last of the debris pile behind the garage. The little mound is actually 4 or 5 layers of stucco and chicken wire...all very heavy and has to be clipped into manageable bits for disposal. I've gotten rid of probably 1/3 of that so far. The wood bit is the underside of the old laundry room counter, also very heavy since it still has all the old tile on it.

My whole house is cracked and peeling inside and out. How dare you remind me of my responsibilities. ;)

I'll try to be much more conscientious about those posts in the future. ;-)

After all, 95% of the house IS no-maintenance stucco, brick, and vinyl windows.

The front of my house is stucco; it is cracked too. People DIE from brick buildings in SF -bad idea. :)
