Circa...1968

I never bought an album when I was at home, cuz we really did not have a good record player. BUT...my dad had an 8-track tape installed in the car so he could listen to Johnny Cash.....

So, the first music I ever bought was in 1968 and it was....."Oliver" the movie soundtrack on 8-track tape! (How gay is that???)

My first record album was in college..circa 1970, and it was....."Jesus Christ Superstar". I bought it sight unheard... I had read about it in some underground paper and decided I wanted it - The First Rock Opera.

Have I moved on??? I bought "Avenue Q" and "Spamalot" the same way...so I guess not!
